Horribly injured due to a train accident... Sindhu needs your help!
The RESQ Lonavala team received news of a railway accident involving some cattle around four days ago. Tragically, two cows did not survive but a third did. She did not come out of it unscathed though; sustaining a deep wound to her backside, almost compromising her rectum and vulva. She was bleeding profusely when she was found and she was transported quickly from Lonavala to Pune where her dressing and treatment began. She was named Sindhu at the RESQ Centre in Pune.
In the video you can hear Dr. Rohit explaining the extent of her injuries. This isn't going to be a case of quick recovery. Sindhu is going to need a very long time for her deep wounds to completely fill in. We're diligently cleaning and dressing her wound daily, ensuring that no secondary infection or any other complication sets in. But we need your help along the way. Please contribute towards Sindhu's care by clicking on the Donate button below. Every bit counts!
