Q.1
Can I visit the RESQ Centre?
Absolutely! We have an open-door policy and welcome visitors on all days of the week from 11:00am to 5:00pm. We conduct Guided Visits which involve tours of the RESQ Centre and personalised introductions to some of our wonderful animals at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm every day. To arrange for a visit or request for more information, please write to us at info@resqct.org
Q.2
Where is the RESQ Centre located?
We are located on a hill just off the Paud-Mulshi road and a little ahead of Ambrosia Resort in Bhugaon. You can navigate to our address via Google Maps here: www.resqct.org/contact
Q.3
Is the RESQ Centre accessible by a vehicle?
Yes, the RESQ Centre is accessible by a permanent road.
Q.4
Can I use public transport to reach the RESQ Centre?
There is no direct public transport to the RESQ Centre. Public buses come as far as Chandni Chowk from where on you can either walk (4km), hitch a ride, or use a Tum-Tum autorickshaw. You may also like to consider using Uber or Ola taxis, which operate both to and from the RESQ Centre during our working hours.
Q.5
Are you open on all days?
Yes, we are open on all days of the year, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Q.6
Can I get a tour of the RESQ Centre when I visit?
We’d love to show you around the RESQ Centre. We conduct Guided Visits of the Centre every day at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, during which you will receive a tour of our facilities, meet some of our wonderful animals, and even be able to feed them treats out of a RESQ treat bucket! To book a Guided Visit with us or to pre-book a treat bucket, please write to us on info@resqct.org, and we would be happy to arrange the same.
Q.7
Can we buy food or beverages for ourselves at the RESQ Centre?
Yes, tea and basic snacks can be purchased at the RESQ Centre for a fixed price.
Q.8
What is the disability access at the RESQ Centre?
At the RESQ Centre, while the pathways can be travelled by wheelchairs or walkers, the journey around the Centre is long and bumpy in some places. Apologies but, at this point in time, we do not have a toilet with disability access.
Q.9
Can I visit the RESQ Centre with my pet?
No, we discourage you from visiting with your pet, as the RESQ Centre is an animal hospital and rehabilitation Centre and the chances of your pet contracting infections or diseases at the Centre are high.
Q.10
Can I play with your dogs and cats when I visit?
Our animals love human interaction, and adore playing with our visitors. However, please note that you will need to ensure your anti-rabies vaccinations are up to date in order to interact with our RESQ dogs and cats. This protocol is in place for your own safety and well-being.
Q.11
Can I celebrate my birthday at RESQ with the animals?
Absolutely! Please write to us at info@resqct.org and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
