Pari came to us with a history of mast cell tumour (the most common skin tumour in dogs, it is a cancer of a type of blood cell normally involved in the body's response to allergens and inflammation) that had been operated upon before she was abandoned. We saw that the sutures had opened up and that maggots had infested the wounds inside! Needless to say, she was in a lot of pain... but that's not all. Pari was also heavily pregnant! 3 weeks after being admitted to RESQ, Pari gave birth to 3 beautiful little puppies. She is still recuperating at RESQ and we are doing everything we can to give both Pari and her babies a fighting chance at life. Please help us by sponsoring Pari and her puppies' care at RESQ!
