Frightened but brave! Attacked by dogs in the night, Foaly came to RESQ with multiple painful wounds on her legs and her neck. The other horses in Foaly’s herd tried to protect her while her mother was very distressed to see her baby in danger. Foaly came to RESQ extremely scared and skittish, and because of this we brought her mother along for comfort, as we didn't want to separate them. At nearly 3 months old, Foaly is exceptionally brave about her extensive wounds even as she stays very close to her mother. Foaly and her mother are 'Dhangar' horses: a community to which RESQ offers free treatment for their animals. Without emergency help for Foaly, she would have been abandoned and left to her condition, likely separated from her mother. Foaly’s treatment plan includes painkillers, antibiotics and laser therapy to help her recover quickly, BUT she needs your help!
