Gundu is a young male cat who was brought to RESQ with a complaint of low appetite and icteric mucous membranes. A blood test showed that he had severe liver failure.
During his treatment time here at RESQ, he also managed to contract cat flu owing to the cold weather and his own compromised immunity.
Every day this cat is hooked on to intravenous saline through which he receives all the medication he needs.
One would think that all this poking and prodding would leave the animal scarred for life. But despite his frail physical health, Gundu is a mischievous cat, always meowing for attention. He is a full time lap cuddler should he get a chance.
Gundu has a while to go before he can get back to his normal healthy self. If you wish to pitch in for Gundu's care, please click the Donate button below.
