Arya was found abandoned, lying motionless in the middle of a garbage dump. Apart from two small wounds on her paws, there were no other visible injuries, and her belly had been shaved (the way it's often done before surgery) but there were no surgery marks on her body. Arya had clearly been taken to a vet for treatment before being abandoned. We rushed her to the RESQ Centre and for the first few days, she was completely unresponsive. We didn't know if she was just dull and lethargic, or if she had been given some kind of sedative. She needed constant observation and was so weak she couldn't even lift her head up on her own, let alone stand up and walk! Thankfully, with laser therapy (to help stimulate her nerves) and an absolutely adoring and dedicated team to look after her, Arya has begun responding to her treatment. We are hopeful that she will soon make a completely recovery, and hope you can support her on this journey!
