NANDANI: THE DOG WHO SMILES THROUGH SUFFERING
Nandani came to us with a deep, lacerated wound on her chest. The gash is so severe that a raw skin flap has formed. Should the skin remain healthy, we will attempt a wound suturing. However, if it doesn’t, we will have to perform a skin grafting and hope that Nandani heals as well as Valentine did.
While the cause of her injury is unknown to us, what we do know for sure is that Nandani has a fierce and unending thirst for life and joy. She is the kind of dog who will wag her tail through suffering; who will fix her sweet, goofy grin on every human that walks by. Despite the agony of her situation, she is an extremely friendly, happy little girl who loves getting her daily dose of cuddles and treats.
Nandani’s surgery is going to be a long and extensive process, and the road to complete recovery is a bumpy ride. She will need daily intensive dressings, antibiotics, painkillers, multivitamins, and round-the-clock care. Please help sponsor her treatment so she can get back on her feet, smiling and demanding cuddles without the pain of a wound burning into her side!
The smallest of gestures can yield the greatest results when it comes to an injured animal's wellbeing. If you'd like to help Nandini live the joyful, pain-free life she deserves, please click on the 'Donate' button below.
