Share and spread the word:
This 4 month old little calf, who we've named Johnny now came to us with a fractured jaw, a mouth full of blood, and one eye was so badly swollen that he couldn’t even see clearly, making him all the more terrified and disoriented than he already was. It is very likely that Johnny was the victim of a hit-and-run case..
The minute we heard about him, we sent out the RESQ ambulance and got him to the RESQ Centre in Bavdhan. He's received medical attention and now after 4 days, the swelling in his eye has completely subsided and his vision has RETURNED!
This sweet calf is now making friends at our Large Animals Unit, and is slowly opening up to human love and contact. Johnny’s jaw is still quite painful and it's going to be constant medical care for minimum one month for healing. Please support us on his road to recovery by clicking the 'DONATE' button below!
