Daddy
Share and spread the word:
Daddy, once someone’s beloved pet was noticed by multiple people running frantically up and down the Pashan circle with a very big gaping wound below his tail. Due to the stereotype surrounding the breed, people were hesitant to go help him at first!
But humanity is not yet lost, and eventually, a concerned citizen reached out to RESQCT for help.
Our On-Site treatment van was dispatched immediately and Daddy was finally brought to the centre.
On further examination, our vets found the wound around his sensitive groin area had been left unattended for so long that it had become septic and infested with maggots.
Poor Daddy, was visibly in a lot of pain and discomfort as he constantly tried to scratch and rub his wound in an attempt to relieve his pain.
Once his treatment began, the maggots were removed and his wound was dressed with soothing antiseptic lotions. He was finally relieved to be free from the constant pain and took a long restorative nap.
It is very apparent that Daddy is confused as to why he is surrounded by strangers not his human family. Our team is doing all we can to make Daddy feel loved and wanted after all he has been through.
He is a very well behaved dog and loves human interaction. In the following weeks, once Daddy’s wounds heal we are looking for a foster and forever home for him!
Rs 9000= One month of daily dressing, pain killers, food and supplements.
