Bikki
Share and spread the word:
Bikki was found trembling and in pain on the streets of Pune! When our onsite team went to check on her, her condition seemed grave and we decided to admit her to the ResQ centre immediately!
A large part of Bikki’s neck had become septic with maggots. On seeing the wound, one might not be able to make out its severity, but underneath the skin flap, her wound is noticeably deep! After giving her medicines to soothe the pain, we removed all her maggots and dressed the wound ensuring it is completely covered!
Bikki is a hesitant dog but harms others in no way! This shy girl keeps to herself, but we know she will open up to us once her pain significantly reduces. Her recovery is going to take a long time and is going to be a challenge for her, but our team is optimistic and we hope to see Bikki back on the streets soon!
Rs 7500= One month of daily antiseptic dressings, painkillers, health boosting supplements and nutritious food.
