Angie
Share and spread the word:
Angie is the sweetest, most loving little Spaniel you will ever see. In fact, she is such a happy little girl that she leaves no hint of her painful past or broken heart.
Angie's owners tied her to our Centre gate at 3:30 am one morning, and left to shiver and cry alone in the pouring rain. She had a skin condition and was also suffering from bursitis (a painful condition that affects the small, fluid-filled sacs due to repeated pressure on the joints), which was most likely caused due to her being kept on hard surfaces for years without any soft bedding. She is unable to bear any weight on her foreleg as a result of this, and is undergoing daily intensive physiotherapy to help ease her pain. She is approximately 3 years old, and is incredibly affectionate... so much so, that one would never have guessed that this adorable girl endured the heartbreak of abandonment.
Currently, her treatment costs include physiotherapy, treatment for her skin condition and forelimb, and specialised nutrition as she is an underweight Pedigree dog. If you'd like to contribute towards her treatment, please click the DONATE button below, for every little bit helps!
