Viva's owners chose to give her to their domestic help when they moved abroad instead of rehoming her. The person that they thoughtlessly gave her to did not have space or resources to accommodate Viva. Instead, leaving her outside in the rain. When she was finally rescued and brought to our Centre, our vets found that she had a small maggot wound as well as mammary tumours. After a much-needed bath, Viva is now receiving antibiotics, painkillers and supplements to help her recover. This sweet 10-year-old girl has been nothing but optimistic, friendly, and co-operative through her whole ordeal. You gave her overwhelming support when she needed to get out of the rain, now she needs your support on her journey to recovery.
