There’s bad news, good news and a challenge. The bad news: The famous Vodafone dog, has been abandoned, once again. He was abandoned near Kudje and was picked up by Sushma Date who saw him wandering on the road with this awful looking skin condition. He was so thirsty and tired when she found him that he drank 3 whole bowls of water out of exhaustion! Pugs are one of those breeds that are so amazingly cute but have so many medical challenges that they are faced with - it saddens us every single time we bring in another one at RESQ.The good news: He’s been admitted to RESQ now and we’ve lovingly named him Olly. The best news is that Olly’s skin condition is 100% treatable. The challenge: Olly’s skin condition and spirit is going to take a long time to heal, possibly months. Only after it does, can we look for a home for him.. He’s friendly and gentle, but there’s a sadness in his eyes which we’re hoping to light up with time. He is going to need a lot of skin care, baths, multiple changes of bedding and a very nutritious diet to help him recover fully. Would you like to be Olly’s sponsor through his journey?
