Disability is a matter of perception. What do you call a dog whose been run over by a train, lost both hind legs and boldly shows the spirit to fight and live? Maya.
Maya came to us yesterday, after a train ran over her and severed both her hind legs away from her body. Her PAIN TOLERANCE is commendable: she dragged herself to the side of the road even after the injury. Her SPIRIT is intact : she is friendly and is allowing us to treat with no resistance.
She has lost a lot of blood and is under critical care currently. We are waiting for her to stabilise so we can take her into surgery. We believe she is a fighter and will make it through. She is going to need a lot of help beyond regular medical health care.
Please SHARE and SPREAD the word so we can also eventually find a family who can adopt this girl too (we will get her a wheelchair)! You can also HELP Maya in her journey to recovery by contributing to her medical care
