A few weeks ago, in the midst of the COVID pandemic in Pune, an elderly couple passed away, leaving behind 16 cats who were their family for a long time. Suddenly completely orphaned, the news of the plight of these cats reached RESQ via volunteers Ingrid Borate and Anu Gurnani. The RESQ team secured the 16 cats from the couple's home; all of whom were scared and stressed. They are all middle-aged to geriatric; the oldest of them is 15 years old. Our vets and rehabilitators are working with them every day. We will be looking for homes for all these lovely cats but while they are with us at the RESQ Centre, we will need help with their care.
You can help us take care of these cats till the time they're with us.
