Strength is nothing more than how well you handle your pain!
Two days ago a young female Indie named Ziggy was rushed to the RESQ Centre in the middle of the night with a giant open wound on her neck. Our doctors suspect that she was a victim of an accident or her skin was burnt causing it to tear off. She was in excruciating pain and trauma when found by our team. Other than starting immediate treatment, there was nothing else our team could do to reduce Ziggy’s state of discomfort.
Often Dogs suffering from this kind of a trauma become very ferocious and difficult to treat. But Ziggy is a timid little girl. She roams around our OPD, greets everyone with a wagging tail and sits peacefully during her dressing and treatment. Truly one of a kind, she has already managed to make a special place in our hearts in very less time.
For Ziggy’s wound to heal completely, our team will need to surgically graft a layer of skin on it. We are hoping she makes it through the coming days and recuperates speedily. She is a strong girl and so far she has courageously faced her pain, all she needs is your love and blessings.
