Tin-Tin
Share and spread the word:
Tin-Tin is a Lhasa Apso puppy who endured immense suffering and neglect at the hands of his owners. Lhasa Apsos are known for their long hair, which often gets in the way of their eyes if not groomed properly. Un-trimmed hair tends to collect dirt, mud and dust over time, creating crusty tear-stains under their eyes which need to be cleaned regularly. Tin-Tin’s owners neglected to do this simple task to such an extent, that this poor puppy developed a gaping wound in his tear ducts as a result – which then became infested with maggots. Imagine how filthy Tin-Tin's environment must have been, for flies to lay eggs in his wounds and maggots to eat into his flesh!
Now, Tin-Tin is receiving some much-needed love and care at the RESQ Centre, and our vets are doing their very best to treat his wound. Please consider contributing towards Tin-Tin's care by clicking the DONATE button below! Every little bit helps.
