Found on the streets with what looked like a dog bite gotten worse with a maggot infestation, this dog was found suffering, by a few compassionate people who decided to help him! He was rushed to the RESQ Centre immediately with a maggot wound on his nose, deep enough to expose his nasal bone. The only "silver lining", to say, was that his saviours found him before the maggots could get to his eye and cause more damage. We named this brave boy Tiger and started his treatment right away!
After cleaning his wound entirely we removed the maggots and provided him with painkillers, antibiotics and some fluid therapy. He started opening up to us shortly after realising that we were only trying to help him by reducing his agony.
A wound this deep and painful is not going to be an easy one to recover from! Tiger is going to require a lot more than just treatment and care. He needs your love and prayers.
Rs 7500= One month of daily dressings, painkillers and food.
