Pumpkin
Share and spread the word:
With a tumor the size of a baloon hanging from her belly, pumpkin, an Indie dog, was spotted and reported on our webline. A mammary tumor this big, is not just painful but also a huge inconvenience. Unlike other healthy dogs, she is unable to run and can barely walk as her tumor is heavy and is draining most of her energy.
At RESQCT, she is currently undergoing treatment for her cancerous tumor. Our team is doing their best to reduce it’s size with the necessary medication, however, a surgery is required for Pumpkin to be out of her misery. Her blood work reflects that she is severely anemic and the fact that she is an old dog makes us unsure if she will be able to sustain the surgery. Once we get the green signal, our doctors will surgically remove her tumor.
Pumpkin is a little hesitant but an absolute sweetheart. We are all hoping she makes it through surgery, hale and hearty.
