Loki
Share and spread the word:
A large truck grazed past Loki the donkey, a sharp hook on its side piercing through the skin on his hind leg. Loki was left incapacitated and unable to bear any weight on his injured leg. Thankfully, we were able to rush him in to the ResQ Centre for an emergency suturing, during which our veterinarians stitched healthy tissue surrounding Loki's wound over the injured area.
Although the infection and pus on his wound have reduced considerably, the gash on Loki's leg will take time to heal. He is slowly warming up to the prospect of using his leg again, and he is going to need a lot of medical attention and physical therapy. Our large animals need your support just as much -- if not more -- as our little ones do, which is why we're asking you to extend your love and compassion for Loki today. Please help this incredibly sweet-natured boy defeat the pain of his injuries and make a full recovery! Sponsor Loki's treatment by clicking the DONATE button below.
