Kharosh
Share and spread the word:
Isn’t is heartbreaking to see an old person battling pain all by themselves.
This is Kharosh, a male Indie dog who has spent all his life on the streets,by himself, trying to survive one day at a time. He was rushed to the RESQ Centre with a huge maggot wound on his left ear. When our team opened his mouth to estimate his age we found out that poor Kharosh was also toothless with only one teeth left in his upper jaw. This made it difficult for him to consume solid foods, and thus he was miss out on a lot of nutrition.
Kharosh is very weak and seemed desolated. We ran his blood test only to find out that he was anaemic as well! Living on the streets with minimum human contact, he likes to keep by himself and takes time to open up to a human. At the RESQ Centre, we are providing him with daily dressing, painkillers, a special diet and lots of love. But just like any other severe maggot wound victim, Kharosh is going to take a long time to heal from his wound completely. Our team, however, is very optimistic and we are hoping for a full recovery.
Rs 9000= One month of daily dressing, painkillers, and food.
