Kaybee
Share and spread the word:
Kaybee, a young bull was spotted sitting on the road in Khadki, bleeding profusely from his rectum area. With several vehicles passing by, it was dangerous for him to sit on the road as it could lead to an accident. A few volunteers tried to approach him but he refused to get up, behaving aggressively. Determined on his safety, they managed to relocate him to a nearby old abandoned house until our large animal ambulance reached and took him to the RESQ Centre.
Admitted in the middle of the night, our doctors noticed a deep wound near his tail region, severely septic with maggots making Kaybee uneasy and temperamental. Now under treatment at our centre, he is doing much better. He is able to stand up and is showing a more active behaviour as well. He has still not opened up to us, but we believe, with time he will realise our concern and efforts for his recovery and will ultimately give us a chance.
