Hammer
Share and spread the word:
Meet Hammer, a playful dog from the streets of Pune, who unfortunately can no longer see from one eye. He was brought to RESQCT a few days ago, found on the road walking unsteadily and weaving around on the road because of the amount of pain he was in. After our doctors checked his wound, they found he had a cancerous eye growth that had burst. The exposed wound attracted flies causing a maggot wound.
We admitted him to RESQCT. He is currently receiving painkillers, antibiotics and round the clock care by our team and will in all likelihood need surgery. The medical side of his treatment we are looking after, but we are sure he would love it if you could come spend some time with him.
Rs 1750 for one week of daily dressings, pain killers, antibiotics and food.
Rs5000 for his enucleation surgery.
