Apollo
Share and spread the word:
Apollo, is a young male Rottweiler, who came to the RESQCT abandoned and in distress. He had a large gapping wound on his back that was severely infected with maggots. On arrival, our team was unsure about his temper, but he was a complete sweetheart and let us treat him immediately.
His maggots were removed and his wound was further dressed. He was given the necessary pain killers, however, his distress still did not reduce. Apollo constantly kept shuddering and trying to scratch his wounds.
Currently under our care, Apollo is under treatment and we are hoping for a full recovery within 6-8 weeks. Apollo is a gentle boy and loves human company!
