Mercedes-Benz International School Supports ResQ

Monday, December 12th, 2011

Mercedes-Benz International School invited ResQ Charitable Trust to give their upper school students a better insight into why there are so many stray dogs on our streets and what we can do to help the situation improve.

Some students have been coming to volunteer with us regularly and we hope to find more young animal enthusiasts through creating awareness at schools.

MBIS has also decided to organise a fund raiser withing the whole school, for ResQ Charitable Trust.

A great big thank you to all at Mercedes-Benz International School for supporting us and making a difference to the lives of many an animal in need.

RESQ Art Show!

Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

Saket Mehendale, an architect by profession, an avid animal lover and an artist at heart, showcased more than 50 of his paintings at the Darpan Art Gallery in Patrakar Nagar, from the 18th to the 21st of July.
All the proceeds from the sale of his paintings were donated to ResQ by him! He believes in not earning from his art! And from his past experience with ResQ, he decided to donate it all to us!
This is to thank him for such a kind, gracious and selfless gesture on his behalf! Thanks a ton!!

ResQ has now been granted its 80G certificate!

Monday, February 7th, 2011

Finally – we now have our 80G certificate.

This means that anyone donating to RESQ CHARITABLE TRUST can claim Tax Exemption under Section 80G for the Income Tax Act, 1961 for donations made.

More funds –> better resources –> better work and more work!

Thank You :)

For us at ResQ, the easiest and most effective way to keep you posted on our rescues and the dogs’ improvements are through photographs. And yet, we have had times wherein we had to take photos from our driver’s camera phone or borrowed cameras!

But not anymore - ResQ now has an official camera to call its own!!! And we really can not thank Tanya enough for this!!

They say that pictures speak a thousand words and we will now ensure we have more pictures in our database than paper records of our rescues :)

Thank You Tanya!

Lending a Paw: Rashes and Muddy’s Owner

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

There’s this man with a big heart who treats every stray dog like every one of them are his pets!
The ones he adopts from the streets have funny names and lucky lives :)  They get pampered at the Pawsh, receive the best medical treatment available and love unlimited.

Recently Rashes and Muddy’s Owner helped us buy half our monthly medicine stock at RESQ!!

The four leggeds (or three sometimes!) don’t ever have words to express Thank You and right now, nor do I.
Thank you Sameer.

For lending me...

...a paw

...Thank YOU!!
