This is Kaalu, who is approximately 5 months of age. He is very shy towards strangers but friendly once familiar, does not bite/attack, a bit stubborn, sleeps and plays a lot, as of now drinks only milk and food soaked in milk like roti/biscuits, is used to doing potty in plant pots(with soil) with no health/digestion problems. Currently lives in society premises and sometimes comes inside the house.

One of the major tasks at The Staveley Road Re-Homing Project was for us to make sure all dogs were sterilised before they were given for adoption. This was being done by taking the individual dogs to be neutered.
We soon realised that this would be a very long process with 60 – 80 dogs needing surgery.
Thats when we requested the help of Sarvodaya Sevabhavi Sanstha (from Bangalore) to come in with their team of professionals to neuter the dogs.
On the weekend of 7th and 8th May, 2011, they came in with a team of 8 people, 4 veterinary surgeons and 4 trained staff. In 2 days 69 surgeries were successfully performed with no complications and no follow up treatment being required.
Raja is an extremely sweet dog, the caller for Raja always saw him as an obedient and a gentle creature. But there was a time when Raja would not come out from a certain spot for a long period of time, and that is when the caller realised that something was wrong with Raja. He noticed that Raja was bleeding from his penis.
That is when the caller called us and we managed to get Raja to our office and got him checked by our visiting doc, Dr. Prashant. He was quick to identify the problem and just within a month, Raja’s cancer on the penis was gone!
Now Raja is back to being the most gentle dog on Range Hills Road, Khadki!
Scully was abandoned by somebody in a very bad state. She was extremely scared, because she had this big wound on her head and she got attacked by a few dogs, where she had been left.
She is quite cheeky and pretty independent otherwise and is developing fine now. But due to the incident she gets very nervous and terrified around other dogs.
As you can see in the pictures, her wound is healing up just fine, we need to find her a lovely home, preferably in a home that already does not have any pets.

Sheru here was seen with one of the worst maggoted wounds inside his ear. A perfectly sweet dog needed a little help, but was very scared to come close initially.
